Finals Week

As we all know that finals week is coming up and we are being cramped with homework and studying it can be really stressful. So this week I would like to post a picture of our island and its sunset that I took. This picture relaxes me and takes away some stress from school. I hope it does the same to you guys and I hope the best of luck for your finals. I had a great semester with everyone and hope to see you guys in future classes or in person.

Hawaii

Last week I forgot to post a picture so this week I will post two pictures of things that mean a lot to me and motivate me. So for this picture it was a picture of our island that I took from the airplane when I went on my trip. This island is my home and will always be my home. I was born and raised here and it is everything to me. I have so much memories here and I have met so much people here. They have made me who I am today and I am proud to say I am from Hawaii.

Basketball

This week I would like to share a recent accomplish me and some of my friends did. We won championship in an outside basketball league. These are some of the people that motivate me to finish school and get a successful career. Two of the guys in this picture just got promoted to Sargent in the police force and that was another thing that motivated me. They worked so hard over the years and they still find time to come out and play basketball with me and the other guys. They are living a successful life while being able to enjoy the company around them . One day I wish to do the same with my career.

Taking it all in

This week I would like to show you guys a picture from the Pali Lookout. Every now and then we just got to stop and take in what is in front of us. That goes from nature, city lights, animals, plants etc. Being in the moment of these sights can really relieve stress that we have and calm us down. It is very therapeutic and very needed for everyone. Being able to capture such a scene is rare because we will never know what will happen next to us or such things. That is why this picture has moved me and took away some stress.

Parents

This week I want to post a picture of my parents, they have been supporting me through everything in life and made me the person I am today. I owe a lot to them and I am really grateful that they are in my life, without them I don't know where I would be now and I hope I am making them proud. I love them with all my heart and I have learned so much from them. It was my birthday this past week and they made it one of the best birthday. I will savor these memories and one day treat my kids the same way.

Brother (Jeff)

A couple weeks ago I put up a picture of my brother's clothing line that he came out with and why it motivated me. This week I would like to share with you guys a picture of my brother Jeff. He is two years older that me and he helps me with whatever I need. When I am hungry he'll offer to buy food, when I need help with homework he will give his thoughts to help me out, and when I am stranded somewhere he will pick me up. He is supportive and always there for me, I am grateful he is my brother. This picture is when we went on our trip to Orange County with the family and this was when we were getting ready for our cousin's wedding.

Supporting Family

This week I wanted to post this picture that we took when I went on my trip to Orange County in January. The last time I was back in Orange County was about 8 years ago so I don't remember anything really. I didn't know my family was this big and the thing is that this isn't everyone. I was surprised and they are the best. They are living the life out there and are really supportive to me. I had a blast seeing them again and it was one of the best trips to start off the year.

Kapiolani Community College

This week I wanted to post a picture of KCC's logo because it motivates me and pushes me to finish and start my career. It shows that I am actually in college and that I am lucky I am here because there are people that are also wanting to go to college but they can't Being able to go to a college and hopefully graduating would mean so much so me because I would be the first in my family to graduate from college and they would be so proud of me. This is why I chose this picture for the week.

Jeff Phantom

This week I wanted to show you guys this picture of my brother's DJ clothing line that he came out with. Why this is important and motivates me is because he starting to get his DJ name out there. He is getting booked for events and parties, he is getting shout outs from other DJs and seeing these things pushes me to finish up school and start my career. He always looks out for me and supports me as I support him.

RIP Grandpa

This week I decided to have a picture of my grandpa because he has just passed away yesterday at 2 PM. He was from Vietnam and moved to France, Brest to live with my Aunt, when I was young I would fly there every other year to visit them. He would always give me money and gifts to take home, he would also encourage me to go to school and to try my best. He is now in a better place RIP grandpa..

Cartwright

This week for my Powerpoint assignment I talked about why we should exercise. This picture is of me and some of my friends at the park where we play basketball at. I go here 3 times a week for about 3 hours a day. I have been going to this park since I was about the 4th or 5th grade and it is my second home. I come here to have a good time, relax, talk story, exercise, and meet new people. For those that want to come and play I am here usually Monday, Wednesday, Friday around 5:30 P.M.

Buddah

This week I would like to share with you guys this set up that I have at home. My family are Buddhist, we follow its ways and teachings as much as we can to become better people. We always try to help others and live life as simply as we can. Growing up and learning this religion has really affected my view on life and it has changed me to become who I am today.
